![]() ![]() AI is terrible, level design too, sound effects are missing sometimes and the story is lame (which makes The Renegade an Oscar winning TV series). The number of moves is actually less important than in the original Double Dragon, can you believe that? Now the gunplay mechanics are awkward and these passages are never fun to play either, but let's say it's probably the best part of the game, which says much about the whole thing. Fighting Force wasn't good but at least they had an excuse, it ran on PS1, the hardware was limited. The beat them up part is also a disgrace, with awful animations, ridiculous mechanics. In 1991, Road Rash gave us full control on everything, hello? Like I said, the motorbike sequences are a joke, putting us on autopilot every time Jake is attacked so we can press A/B/X/Y like a maniac to take the enemies out. Technically speaking it's bad but it wouldn't have mattered if gameplay had been average. There is nothing that can justify the existence of such a horrible title. I am not the kind of person to bash games but this deserves it so much I feel I haven't been harsh enough. ![]() Now what? Deadpool is a masterpiece by comparison. completed it just now, and i was fantastic, the thing is it uses old design mechanics like you would find in ps2/xbox 1 games, for Derps Rtard out there that suddenly got amnesia how games back in 2005 played that are this generation nightmare, stumped this to the ground because they wanted a SandBox game and not a 3D BEAT THEM UP made like Fighting Force. Compared to that god awful DeadPool, Ride to Hell is great. ![]()
